Do’s and Don’ts

DO ask questions.

DO give any helpful information in locating mole and shrew activity. (You spend the most time in your yard)

DO keep watch over traps as kids and neighbors are curious.

DO call if any fresh sign is observed.

DO protect equipment, it is very expensive.

DO encourage neighbors having trouble to join you in gaining control. (I have trapped 5 adjoining properties at one time)

DO plan on a place for dead moles and shrews. I will bag them and leave them for you.

DO flatten tunnels and clean mounds at the end of trapping and five days after Talprird treatment. Mole and shrews separate the grass roots from the dirt and the grass will die if not walked back down. Mounds smother the grass if not cleaned up.

DON’T expect one trapping session to end all of the trouble. It didn’t get bad in one week, so give it time.

DON’T touch any traps or equipment, these traps are very powerful and some are sharp and could cause severe pain. Tampering with traps is grounds for LOVE WILDLIFE CONTROL to discontinue service.

DON’T touch any traps or equipment; sprung traps not handled properly could release a critter that hasn’t yet passed. Sprung traps (empty traps) are important, they tell LOVES WILDLIFE CONTROL what to do next.

DON’T clean up mounds or flatten tunnels while LOVES WILDLIFE CONTROL is trapping. All sign is important and needed to succeed.
