What do I as a landowner have to do?
1. Decide to gain control of this problem!
2. Do not disturb traps as I must be able to read the sign and know exactly what is happening to be the most effective.
3. Protect my equipment the best you can while I am working at your place.
4. Communicate with me when you mow and bale. During spring and summer timing visits is critical.
5. Gaining control in tall fields is nearly impossible so expect to mow or burn off areas to be trapped.
6. Dispose of dead gophers.
7. Sign a letter of understanding.
